Hello, Seniors!  Welcome to the Class of 2024 Info Page.  I am Mr. Schultz, your School Counselor. This will be your "one-stop shop" for all of your needs while you navigate this final leg of your high school journey.  Please be sure to check back regularly for updates and announcements.

GRADUATION INFORMATION 

• Order your Cap and Gown HERE - please order as soon!  Scroll to the bottom of the Jostens website for the "BCPS Basic Package" which includes all required items for graduation. The cost of the package is $30.00 after tax.

• Location: Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) - click HERE for directions

• Date: June 5, 2024, at 2 pm (Students must report at noon for rehearsal)

• CLASS OF 2024 SENIOR SURVEY IN XELLO NOW AVAILABLE!! - This is required to have your diploma issued! The link to the survey can be found on your Xello Dashboard under "Surveys". The deadline to complete this survey is May 10, 2024 (please disregard the June 10 deadline on the page). If you do not see that survey link, please email me.

• SENIOR SEND OFF! - Any student interested in participating in the "Senior Send Off" event that Ms. Hendrix reviewed should email your information (i.e. name, college/post-secondary plan, major/career, etc.) to BVSSGA@gmail.com. The sample we viewed at the meeting was sent out with Senior Meeting #3 follow-up.  See attached instructions for accessing Xello.

• 23-24 State University System (SUS) Matrix - This document provides information about each of the state universities, as well as insight into the acceptance criteria of the SUS schools, including average accepted GPA and test scores, for students that started college in the Fall of 2023. This is a great resource to understand the competitiveness of college admission in Florida.

• ACT and SAT Dates - this attachment includes the upcoming available sessions and the registration deadlines

• Class of 2024 Remind Group Invite - please join if you have not yet done so.

• Transcript Request Form - please follow instructions on the form and make payment through the E-Store. After graduation, your FINAL transcript will be sent at no cost.

• Brag Sheet - I will need this to write you a recommendation letter, if needed.

• Student Volunteer/Work Hours Documents - included are the Site Approval Form (one needed for each location at which you volunteer), Student Volunteer Log (for service hours), and BCPS Work Hours Form (to document paid hours for Bright Futures purposes only)

• Say Hello to Xello! - introductory flyer with details about Xello and links to resources. Let the exploration begin!
