School Counselor Updates

ATTENTION STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR THE FALL 2024 TERM AT BROWARD COLLEGE!

On Monday, 5/20/24, Registration officially opened for Dual Enrollments students to select classes for the Fall 2024 Term at BC.

Steps to Register - this outlines the procedure for selecting your courses. After registration, you will see a balance. Please disregard this. You are not responsible for this balance.
BC Drop/Withdraw Process - provides directions for dropping a course after you have registered. Please pay attention to deadlines! Once the Drop/Add date passes, you cannot drop the course and you will be issued a grade. Please be aware!
BC Online - Tips for DE Success - for those students who elect to take BC Online classes, please refer to this attachment for tips from Broward College. As you know, online coursework is difficult, and college-level courses in this format are even more challenging. Make sure you remain engaged!
Remote vs. Virtual Courses - explains the difference between these online delivery models. Be sure you are aware!
BC Gen Ed Requirements - you can refer to this document for a detailed look at the requirements to earn your Associate of Arts (AA) degree from BC. These requirements are essentially the same for all state colleges, although the titles and course codes may differ. I always recommend contacting your school of choice to get clarification on any questions regarding courses and credit articulation.

PLEASE NOTE!!! - To review which classes you listed on your form, log in to your Dynamic Forms account and view the PDF of your application. If you find that you need to add another class for some reason (i.e. class you wanted is full, conflict on schedule, change in interest, etc.), you can add the course on your own, without additional approval, as long as it is an approved Dual Enrollment course and does not go over your approved credits. There is no need to contact your counselor for this and please DO NOT CONTACT BC DIRECTLY. Also, please keep in mind that some courses require prerequisite classes in order to register.

Once you have registered for your course(s), please download a PDF copy of your schedule and email it to your School Counselor. You should be able to save a copy at "Checkout". Please avoid sending screenshots and/or photos of the schedule. If you make any changes to your schedule during the Add/Drop period, please send an updated copy.
