Broward Virtual School (BVS) is a student-focused and teacher-driven learning institution. Our faculty is comprised of teachers who inspire students to develop a love of learning. BVS offers students a mastery-based instructional model to instill knowledge and build self-confidence. Teacher qualifications include:
- Florida certification in a secondary grade level subject area
- at least three years of successful teaching experience in a traditional classroom
- in-depth knowledge of subject-area content as it relates to Florida Department of Education curriculum standards
- documented examples of professional collaboration based on continuous improvement practices
- a passion for working with children
