BVS Student Shines at FGC Junior Olympics
Congratulations to BVS 7th grader Gioia B. on her extraordinary performance at the Florida Gold Coast Swimming Junior Olympics meet in March. Gioia won two Gold, two Silver, and three Bronze medals in various events. She also set personal best times in each event. Gioia is ranked 18th in the nation in her age group in the 1650-yard freestyle event. In addition to her stellar athleticism, Gioia maintains straight A grades and holds a National Junior Honor Society leadership position at BVS. Bravo, Gioia!
