Fiona Shanley (10th grade)
Our Student Spotlight for the third quarter shines on BVS Trailblazer Fiona Shanley. Fiona has attended BVS since 8th grade. Fiona exhibits extraordinary academic and athletic discipline. She maintains straight A grades in each of her honors and elective courses. Fiona persistently completes her schoolwork ahead of pace so she doesn't fall behind while traveling and competing around the country. Fiona recently finished second in the solo championships in the Southern Regional Oireachtas Competition in December 2021 in North Carolina. As a result of her award-winning national performances, Fiona qualified for the 2022 World Irish Dancing Championships in Belfast, Ireland this April.
