• Geordalmys Alvarez, Class of 2017

  Geordalmys Alvarez is truly a remarkable young lady. Geordalmys and her family moved to Ft. Lauderdale from Venezuela in 2013. She enrolled at Broward Virtual School in her sophomore year. In four short years, Geordalmys mastered the English language, earned a 4.6 GPA, and graduated having earned her high school diploma and 62 college credits. Amazing!  She plans to pursue her bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism.

  
  

  Geordalmys overcame incredible challenges to realize her success. We are proud to add her to a long list of BVS distinguished alumni. Geordalmys and the entire Class of 2017 graduated on June 2, 2017.

• Alexis Blokhina

  Alexis Blokhina is a winner - both academically and athletically. In addition to earning straight As during her first semester at BVS, she just recently won first place in a national tennis tournament - in both the singles and doubles categories! Alexis is a 7th grader at BVS this year, and she is a team player on and off the court.
